Flat Abs: Avoid This At All Costs If You Ever Want ‘Em!

Imagine one day looking in the mirror at your six pack abs and thinking, “Wow, these abs are really mine! All that hard work paid off.” Imagine hearing the daily compliments from all the people in your life; “You look great! How did you do it?” Imagine being in public with an air of confidence, so happy to be you!

Well, I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but if you can’t break your habit of doing these 2 things, it will never happen.

Eating Processed Foods

If you want to lose fat for good, do NOT get on a fad diet.

Here’s how it is when you go on any of those “low carb”, “low fat”, “low calorie”, etc. diets; you deprive your system of the vitamins and nutrients that keep it running properly, especially your metabolism.

Fad diets cause your body to store extra body fat because the rate that it burns calories is much slower to conserve resources. Your stomach doesn’t comprehend the difference between not getting food to meet weight loss goals and not getting food because there IS no food. This is why it goes into “starvation mode”.

Then the body starts to use muscle for energy instead of using fat. The scale numbers will drop but this is not good. By not having muscle (which burns calories for you even when you’re not exercising), the body converts more food into fat once you do start eating more again (say, if you get off the diet). Your body no longer has the muscle to burn the calories efficiently so it all gets stored to fat. That’s why people gain all the weight, plus some when they stop the fad diet.

Avoid processed foods if you want to uncover your sexy abs within.

There are 2 extremely unhealthy ingredients in foods that are processed that actually cause overeating and obesity along with other types of health problems.

Artificial trans fats, which are in baking and cooking ingredients like shortening, hard margarine, and hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils, are added to extend the product’s shelf life and maximize the company’s profits.

What is the greatest health hazard? Coronary Heart Disease.

High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is added to almost every food on the shelves that needs sweetened. It extends the shelf life of food as well without compromising taste. It’s sweeter than sugar so it can be used less and it’s cheaper to companies can buy more.

One major health concern? Obesity.

These 2 substances cause your blood sugar levels to spike (giving you “sugar highs”), which then of course leads to those energy-draining crashes. These cycles cause you to crave more carbs and gain more body fat. It’s an evil cycle.

With the modern ways of processing, the food is stripped of many of the healthy vitamins and nutrients our bodies so desperately need! So what we think we’re feeding our bodies is nothing close to what it actually is. This is the cause of many health problems exsiting now. If we were to avoid processed foods and fad diets by eating natural, unprocessed foods, we would provide ourselves all the benefits of real food AND lose weight!

Diet is EXTREMELY important when trying to get flat abs. Everyone has a decent set of abs on them; they’re just hidden under layers of fat. In order to get VISIBLE abs, you need to lower your body fat percentage by avoiding the things above.
